Torremolinos ChallengeOn Sunday 3rd February Michael Astle of Apartsol Rentals & Simon Ellison of Law in Spain are to run the Torremolinos Half Marathon. The 13 Mile (21 kilometers) course covers all of Torremolinos, commencing in the Plaza Costa del Sol and heading westwards to the border of Benalmadena, before turning east with a scenic 4 mile run along the seafront before the final hilly section. It is the first time that either of the two have run the distance: although they are confident of finishing neither can predict how easy or difficult it will be. To provide a focus for their efforts they are raising funds for the local Cudeca cancer care charity, founded in 1991. Look out for an update on their progress at a later date.
